Whale Watching

Blue Whale There is still time to hop on board the Cape May Whale Watcher for a three hour ocean voyage in search of the great beasts. Through September 7, 2009,  cruises leave daily from the Miss Chris Marina in Schellenger’s Landing at 1pm. Frequently there are additional sailings as well.

Have you ever taken a Whale Watching Cruise? They are wonderful. More often than not, whales or dolphins are spotted off the Mid-Atlantic coast. The anticipation builds as you scan the horizon in search of a blow-hole blowing, a tail slapping, or a dolphin leaping. The mood is often festive as folks put everything cares aside and concentrate solely on willing creatures up from the deep. If you do indeed spot a whale or dolphin? Whippee! You are delighted and thankful. If you don’t spot a marine mammal, you’ll receive a second ride free. How’s that?

At our Cape May Bed and Breakfast we will feed you a healthy, delicious breakfast designed to keep sea-sickness at bay. Okay, we can’t really promise that. But we will feed you well and hopefully that will help. After you return, you are welcome to a glass of refreshment on the porch or in the parlor, where you will undoubtedly feel the sea sway beneath you as you reflect on your adventure.
